Our first race day of the season. We didn’t medal but we made finals for the seniors open and the Ladies, and battled through some adversity. Oh, and it was very very cold….. There would be more but for much of the day half the squad including the photographer were in a three hour continuous race-queue-race loop…
There was, of course, cold beer and champagne at the end….
Our new training boat has arrived. This is a competition standard 10 seater, just like the ones you race in at events all over the world. Much more fun than driving a barnacle encrusted wooden coffin with a tyre hanging off the back….
After years of black caps we move to red, courtesy of our new sponsor Mango Racing.
New Stormy Dragons Paddles
The hats are just the start. What’s really got us excited are the shiny new carbon fibre racing paddles in Stormy Red. Now they are smart.
Posting selected content from the old web site, this is a favourite because it involves us winning. This is a video of the Stormy Dragons Ladies taking the Boracay Crown in 2010.
